Hard Drive Full

Post by johnbeez »

hey, '
I used the scrub but stopped it before it was done. Now my hard drive is full, and there is no folder named scrubwrk. I ran a normal scrub again and saw that it created a scrubwrk folder. but once i stopped the scrub the folder disappeared. How can i get my drive free?

thanks!

The scrubber only puts data into the SCRUBWRK folder. I would suggest running a checkdisk or scandisk as you may have lost chains or some other table corruption on your drive.

I stopped the scrub early and have the same problem. Hard drive showing full, with no scrubwrk folder shown. Also completed a checkdisk, and it's still showing my hard drive is full. Any suggestions?

Close the scrubber then re-open it. It should give you the option to clear any space that it allocated. As stated earlier it only writes in the SCRUBWRK folder when scrubbing a hard drive. You can also do a file search for Scrub_0*.tmp and delete any files found matching that pattern.
