Tax on delivery

Post by mgrotheer »

We activated the delivery tax, as we were told by our accountant that we had to collect sales tax for this fee. How do I get that tax to be included in the tax figure on the "Summary of Transactions" report.

Summary of transactions should show "Total Tax" so it should be included. Do you mean you want it separated? There is no way to separate it out on that report, but that is something that can be done in a future update.

No I would like to include it in with the sales tax, but it is being excluded from that colum. Maybe there is a button that I need to check, but I am at a loss as to where it might be.

Delivery tax is handled as its own separate sales tax in POS Pizza. This is because the system supports this as well as 4 regular sales taxes.

The only other alternative that I can come up with is to not use the delivery zone to get your delivery change and to add it as an "Item" on delivery orders. Set the item as taxable under the sales tax category that you want it to show up under.
