Make-Line on Vista

Post by Scott »

Windows Vista does not support full screen text mode, so you will need to manually adjust the size of your make-line screens when running under Vista.

Below are the steps needed to refit the window for best size for your system.
  1. Open the OrdCon32 program on your system.
  2. Click on the small icon on the upper left hand side of the window to open the menu.
  3. Select Properties from this menu.
  4. Select the Font tab.
  5. Select Lucida Console as your font.
  6. Depending on your screen resolution, select a font size (20 is a good starting point).
  7. Click the Ok button, and see how the size looks. You want the screen to be as large as possible without any bottom or side scroll bars appearing.
  8. Repeat this until you find the optimal size for your installation.
Next go to the icon that launches the Order Console 32 and right-click on the icon.
  1. Select Properties from the menu.
  2. Go to the Font tab.
  3. Select the same font and size that you had on your tests from above that worked best for your situation.
  4. Click Apply to save these settings.
Your make-line window should now open with the desired size each time that you launch the application.
