Time clock and Delivery Receipts Printing Issues

We have a newly setup system and are trying to work out some of the bugs. I am having an issue where our normal receipts print just fine, while our time clock, and delivery ones print like they not setup to the correct printer. One of the complications to this setup is we are not running a name brand printer, but a "generic" one. Are there specific settings for each printer receipt in the global config or local config? Is there a guide on manually setting up other printers besides the ones that come pre built in Pizza POS?

The printer profile's columns / width setting is too big.

Create a new printer profile for each of these printers. Copy the settings from the Epson TM-U220 to these new profiles and begin from there.

If the characters continue to wrap, start backing down the columns / width setting by 2 at a time until they no longer wrap. The other settings to trigger cutters and drawers may work if they follow Epson compatibility. If not, then you will need to consult each printer manufacturers programmers guide and get the Escape Sequences for each operation. Once you have these they can be represented with ASCII values placed inside of braces {} or by actual characters if they are printable. An example would be for Escape - P: {27}P


Re: Delivery Printing

Delivery printing is intended to print to a full page 8.5" X 11" printer such as a laser or ink jet. To print delivery directions on the standard receipt choose the option Same As Receipt Printer from the "General Settings" tab of local config.

The delivery summary sheets are also for full page printers. Disable summary printing and then enable receipt and credit card slip printing from the driver console if you are not using a full page printer.
