You can do 1 of 2 things. First (best), use a customer credit for $5 for the example that you stated. Add the credit to the customer's account, and when you edit the order, save it and you will be prompted to apply the credit to the order. Now only the remainder will be due. I'm glad that you got it working. I'm not sure where you got your version of POS Pizza or how you first found us, but if you got it from CNET it would be very helpful if you could write a review there. The more people that get the software the more helpful it is to us. Thanks!

I keep seeing this message every now in then, even when no one is even logged in. If you are seeing any error messages while POS Pizza is idle, then it is *not* from the software. If you are running Windows XP with different service packs, this sometimes happens with networked clients. Make sure that all XP machines are running SP2.

If you have update Pack 3 you get the customer statements, but you have to have purchase the "Customer Accounting" add-on. It is a $25 add-on if you don't already have it. If you do then just enable it in the System Config under Customer Handling.

Go into the management utility program and select "Database Maintenance" from the "Maintenance" menu. Once this is open, select the customer file from the file list, and then click on the export button.

No, you cannot add orders to a driver once he has signed out until he returns from the delivery. The driver should not log in to take the deliveries until he/she is actually ready to leave for the delivery.

The database won't allow duplicate phone numbers. Also you should verify that your hardware is capable of running v5.x before upgrading! Version 5.x requires bigger hardware than v4 did. Please see the Hardware Requirements at our About POS Pizza web page.

You need to restart the print only module after making the changes so that they get loaded into memory. If you just change them without restarting the print server, it won't do anything.

Yes the ~ (tilde) character is no longer an escape. Change all of the ~ to {27} in your sequence and it should work again. The conversion program should have created an entry based on your System Config that should be a translated entry. But make those changes and all should be well.
