Re: Information needed

For just online ordering service, there are no up-front fees , nor any fees for your store. This service is paid for by a small service fee, which is charged to the customer. You can however, optionally pickup part or all of that fee too by making an easy change in your dashboard. If you will also b...

Re: Bulk update of customer data

Yes, since there were changes, the customer records became *unlinked* from their respective past orders. There is no way to get those back, but any new orders made with those customers will be linked correctly.

Stop the service, then start the service. See if the error persists. That means that it got a new order ID which is the same as one received in the past 50 orders during the last run. Stopping the service will reset the last orders in memory. If you continue to see this, then give me a call Monday m...

Re: Bulk update of customer data

You have to align each field from top to bottom. In places where there is no specific field use the *Blank Placeholder* object. Once you have all of the fields aligned, click the mouse on each field in the center and verify that it aligns correctly with the list on the right. Fix any misaligned fiel...

Re: Bulk update of customer data

* Replace will purge all existing customer data, then import the new customers. * Add will add new customers that aren't already in your database. Given this, neither will work unless you export all customers first. You can add your current "fixed" customers to the top of the full custome...

Re: Thank you!

You don't need dedicated server software, just regular Windows. Having a dedicated machine or a back office machine to run your server on, is always a better choice. However doing so is not required, and running the server component on one of the other stations is perfectly fine. When you decide to ...

Re: Kitchen printing

The easiest way it to replace the code between the :For Each Item and :End Item markers with %fi . This will give the full item description along with quantity and price just like the standard print mode does. If you don't want prices or you want a little more control, then you can use the %if code,...

Re: Record Deposit information?

Hi, you want to use the Paid-Out feature for this. Give it a description such as Cash Drop and enter the amount. This will show on the drawer report and will be properly accounted for. You can also use (-) negative values on Paid-Outs for money put into a drawer, such as a driver doing a drop at the...

That font can't change, but it will word-wrap if no icon is assigned. When an icon is assigned it will truncate since there isn't much space left on the button.

Have you tried downloading the Epson Advanced Printer Driver ? Generally if the printer is an Epson with a network interface built into the printer, the driver installer will be able to locate it during the install process. If it is not a printer with a direct ethernet port on it, but rather one phy...

Re: Install new CS client for version 6.91

A couple things. You should download 6.92, not 6.81. It sounds like you may have downloaded the free version instead of the CS version. The free version does not include a driver dispatch. First you need to uninstall the free version. Go into the Windows control panel, and remove POS Pizza [LT], don...

Your license does not cover v8.x, you will need to purchase an upgrade from v7 to v8 first. You can do that by <-- clicking here --> and then scrolling down to UPGRADE: POS Pizza v7 (CS or SA) to POS Pizza v8 and purchasing it.

If you are running v8 ( or newer ), you can simply exempt certain items from being discounted. Edit the items that you don't want the discount applied to, and then on the Options tab page, check the Exclude From Discounts option on the bottom left of the page in the Item Toggles section. Since several people have asked, I wanted to clarify that you don't ever need to upgrade in sequence, and can always go straight to the latest version since the POS Pizza installers are full packages.

Bluetooth, WiFi, and any connectivity in general, is handled by Windows, not the POS. So if the printer is accessible to Windows, and can successfully print a test page, then it is accessible to the POS. Whether or not that printer will work in general however is unknown. As long as they provide a c...
