Re: Fix key issue with PAX integration (ChargitPro)
Jim D, I haven't checked this thread in a while, can you answer me this? Are you using Gravity payments? You have the PAX setup for the walk in customers only, meaning that all phone orders are entered in one of your non-pax PCs is that correct? Have you tried phone orders on the PAX PC? If you did,...

Re: Fix key issue with PAX integration (ChargitPro)
We ended up reverting back to the computer entry mode (no PAX terminal) for manual entry and credit card swipe. The two PAX integration issues remain unsolved at Gravity and no follow-up to revise. Additionally learned that the PAX mode operation evokes merchant ability to revise charges at the Grav...

Re: Fix key issue with PAX integration (ChargitPro)
Yes I am aware of that work around. Its not acceptable to me having cashier make a PAX entry for each delivery phone order. Not to mention also that cashier needs to sign for the customer on the PAX as well. I told Gravity that this needs to get fixed else I'm moving on. We need to have a chip reade...

Re: Fix key issue with PAX integration (ChargitPro)
Scott, As instructed, I entered a zero in the tip field of Order Submit screen. The PAX is still prompting for tip for this simulated phone order. Chargitpro setup is: "default to manual", "use tips", and "prompt for tips on terminal". I exited and restarted order entry...

Re: Fix key issue with PAX integration (ChargitPro)
H-man, What you have in quotes "prompt customer for tip on pax (excluding delivery)" is this precisely what the ChargitPro / Advanced config screen indicates? If that's the case, then it would seem that CIP has fixed my issue. My version says "Prompt for tip on terminal" (termina...

Fix key issue with PAX integration (ChargitPro)
As I see it presently, the PAX terminal integration is not usable and needs software revision. The problem is that when "default to manual", "use tips", and "prompt for tips" are checked in the Payment Processing configuration screen in POSPizza, The "default to ma...

ChargitPro / Gravity PAX300S integration bug
This is a note to all who use CIP with PAX terminal. I urge you to put pressure on CIP/Gravity to get this fixed The problem is that when "default to manual", "use tips", and "prompt for tips" are checked in the Payment Processing configuration screen in POSPizza. For D...

Feature improvement for Customer Merge Tool
Current behavior is to specify a street, and sub-select customer accounts to merge. This implies that one knows which street to scan. A broader and more effective approach as follows: Scan entire customer table. For each case of two or more accounts with same street and house number Choose merge or ...

Re: Letter of recommendation
I second with the letter of recommendation notion. I have been using POSPizza for two years in our new pizzeria in Pleasanton, CA and am quite pleased with the flexibility and reliability of the system, and the superb level of technical support.

Re: Split Order Button Greyed Out
Hi there,
Can an order be split between two credit cards? We have only been successful to split an order if one is paying in cash or both in cash. (CC payment is greyed on the second half of the split).

Exessive credit card fees - we can fix it
POSPizza users, I have been wondering why my credit card charge fees approach 3%, when I was expecting half of that when I opened my business. Here's why. First Data DOES NOT STORE THE CVV DATA in there tokenized credit card reuse system. This has to do with the tokenized system where you are prompt...

Re: Great back option for PZ6 database file.
that is a very eloquent solution. I have a super inexpensive one that I use. I simply wrote a windows batch file and scheduled it to run daily. It copies the POSPizza database file and some other files I want to a thumb drive that is plugged into a front USB port. ( its attached to my key chain so I...

Re: Printer Fonts
Hi, Chuck form Pizza-Bello. I was wondering if anyone has setup and willing to share a receipt / makeline printer setup for Epson TM-T20? This is a newer low cost solution to Epson's other dot matrix and thermal printers. I want to get These receipts to show some fields enlarged and bold for easy vi...
