Printer Problems

Post by Alexx »

Recently we went "live" with our system. The first 2 days went great, but the third day started having probelms with DYMO label printer. A few hours after being on, the labels will stop printing or start printing massive amount of labels. Once I run Daily Maintenance it runs ok for a few hours. Any ideas?

Daily maintenacne should has no effect on the label printing, so I believe that is a coincidence. Is everything running on a single PC or on a network?

If on a network and using Windows 98SE or Windows ME Make sure that you read the network troubleshooting guide supplied with POS Pizza. These two OS's have serious file cache problems accross networks, which is what POS Pizza uses.

Also try deleteing the file PizzMkLn.PZ5 from the DATA folder (under main POS Pizza folder) and seeing if that clears things up. The file may be corrupted.
