upgrading to new version

hey Scott I know I keep forgetting how to easily do this

is there anyways you could do a step by step instruction and pin it to the top of the forum boards

Hello,

We always send the upgrade instructions in the email with the new license. In a nutshell the upgrade process is this;

1. Stop the server.
2. Apply the dongle update.
3. Start the server.
4. Download and upgrade the clients.

Updates are even easier, just download and install the client, as no changes to the license are needed on an update. To clarify, and update is a change within the same version eg. v7.3 to v7.4, whereas an upgrade is a new version 7.x to 8.x.
