printer settings not working in v5.0

hi all, we upgraded from v4 to v5, but now our printer doesnt advance feed at the end of printing the receipt and no longer cuts the paper......which is odd, because i copied in all the same escape codes from the v4 printer settings page, but now i get different results.......any idea why the same codes would function properly in v4 and not in v5?

BTW, we're using a citizen idp 3210 thermal printer if that helps any

Yes the ~ (tilde) character is no longer an escape. Change all of the ~ to {27} in your sequence and it should work again. The conversion program should have created an entry based on your System Config that should be a translated entry. But make those changes and all should be well.
