Optional Toppings

Post by gman »

We offer a Hawaian Pizza. It has 3 toppings Ham, Pineapple and XCheese. If a customer wants to replace Ham with Bacon I would like to give them the same price. How would i do that? I have setup Lg Hawaian with 3 removable standard toppings but if I remove Ham and Replace it with Bacon it charges them an extra topping.

Set your removable toppings as "Is a Topping" where you edit them on the main item. Once you have done that go back to the Pricing & Taxes tab (Item editor) and check the "Include: ____ toppings free of charge" option and set 3 as the number of toppings in the space and then save.

This will make the 3 removable standard toppings "normal toppings" that have been selected but are not charged for. This will also allow you to do the substitutions the way that you want to.
