Driver tips

Post by durbancic »

Not sure what forum to put this in...
For a driver closeout report, if a driver takes an order AND delivers it that is paid by credit card, it will put the amount of the credit card in ( ) to the left of the total on the printout. If there is a tip applied to the order, there will be a $-x.xx to the right of the ( ) number. Then it subtracts the tip from the total the driver owes at the end of the printout.

If the driver does not take the order and delivers it that is paid by credit card, it will cross off the amount of the order (so that it is not added in to amount owed) but NOT subtract the tips from amount owed. It does not even list the $ amount of tips the driver has earned.

So my question / suggestion is; is there a way that the tips act consistently. Either they get subtracted at all times, or never.

Thanks,

Dan

I will change the driver report so that it always gives tips (on delivery orders) to the driver as a -$xx.xx negative value. They will all show the same as in the case where the driver is the cashier if a tip is given. If no tip, then it will print in the old variation with the line through the amount.
