All Items sales report versus one item sales report

Post by fabiopizza »

Hello,
When i run All items sales report for one month i see i have difference for the same item if i run item sales report for the same period, but only for that item.
For example i run Item sales report only for the product A for the 16.01.2008 to 31.01.2008 and the total sell is 143.
For the same period (I triple check, the same hours) i run ALL Items sales report and Total of the product A is 137.
Can u give me an explanation whats happened?

I am not sure since they come from the same data. What happens if you manually count the item using the Transaction History report? It would be interesting to see which orders specifically aren't showing in one report but are in the others. Can you narrow the range to a single day?

I have had this same error also; the only thing I could think of contributing it to is possible edited orders counting twice on one report...I have not checked that to be fact though, only a guess.
