Another Kprint Issue

Post by robertson.12 »

WHEN PRINTING TO THE KITCHEN WITH MULTIPLE ITEMS ON TICKET TWO THINGS ARE HAPPENING.

1) eXAMPLE WHEN YOU HAVE 1O LARGE PIZZAS ORDERED FOR ONE ORDER IT PRINTS EACH PIZZA VERSUS PRINTING THE QUANITIY ENTERED INTO THE POS SYSTEM. THIS SEEMS TO BE WASTING A LOT OF PAPER.

2) WHEN USING THE SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS AREA IT PRINTS RIGHT ABOVE THE NEXT PIZZA. THIS MAKES IT LOOK LIKE THE INSTRUCTIONS SHOULD BE FOR THE NEXT PIZZA INSTEAD OF THE PREVIOUS ONE WHICH IT WAS INTENDED FOR. ANY WAY TO ADJUST THE SPACE BETWEEN THE INTENDED PIZZA AND THE SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS?

The items will not print quantity's so this is expected behavior, but I will have to look into the special instructions and maybe add a couple of line feeds.

All items are sent as individuals to the make-lines, so quantities are always 1.

Kprint

Scott

If there was a way to enter a seperating line, showing the end of the pizza
would do.

Hey Scott we also have that same problem when using the kprint for special instructions. We have problems using the quantity option for kprint so i disabled it. But the Special instructions part always seem to print above the next order.
