EzTexting No Longer Free

Post by stevecast2024 »

Hi Scott,

Just set up EZtexting for another one of the POSPizza accounts we have down here and they now claim that thwy wont allow API access to free accounts anymore. The original free accounts will be grandfathered. Any new accounts will have to have a paid pplan to work. Figured I would give you a heads up.

I think this may have changed.. I don't know if we were "grandfathered". It just QUIT WORKING. then wanted $50/mo or something silly.

That's the kind of stuff that crushes very small businesses. Then the blame gets passed onto me.

I think that the people who are paying for a plan with them are using a pay-as-you-go plan, since it seems to be the most cost effective for small businesses. Not as cost effective as free though. I know that carriers pass costs onto services such as this, and I don't think that any free ones exist any longer either.

It would almost be nice to have an SMTP option to email out, as that is usually covered with our ISP.

:)

Then again, we're stepping backwards, due to the future costing $$$. oh well.
