Selling multiple pizzas

Post by bobrinaldi »

When entering the order screen and selecting a pizza there used to be an option to add "+1, +2, +3 or +5" at the upper left had corner of the item screen. This made it very easy to add multiple pizzas. For some reason those options are now greyed out and when a guest orders multiple pizzas of the same type we have to go back and add one at a time. Did I change some type of setting? I can't find an option to open up the ability.

Items that are assigned a special pricing scheme, will disable the quantity options when adding them.

Do you suggest some type of work around? we do have our medium, and large pizzas assigned a pricing scheme. We have a special deal for every three medium or two large you purchase. The problem is we often sell large quantities of pizzas to schools and other organizations. Entering one pizza at a time is rather tedious. is there another way to offer the discounted/pricing scheme that will not interfere with adding multiple items??

There is no direct work around for this. The items need to all be separated internally so that the pricing can be applied properly, so quantities of these special priced items in a single line item cannot work correctly.

For your schools you could setup normal priced items, and then a discount item to adjust the price accordingly. This gets really messy though if there are toppings introduced on each item that differ from one another.
