POS Pizza 5.6

POS Pizza v5.6 has just been released and this version no longer stores or transmits any credit card information so it does not fall under the category of software that must meet PA-DSS compliance. If you are running any version prior to v5.6, you should update/upgrade to this version immediately! Otherwise you could potentially be fined for each day that you are using a non-compliant version of software that stores or transmits credit card information. This new law takes effect July 01, 2010 so please update to v5.6 immediately.

PA-DSS is coming up upon it's mandatory deadline, all related software providers must be PA-DSS compliant no later than July 1, 2010. Merchants who are not compliant are not only exposed to possible fines and penalties, but also risk having their credit card privileges revoked.

Side Note: If you are using X-Charge, contact them for the updates before updating POS Pizza. POS Pizza v5.6 uses the new eXpress Link version of X-Charge. This same version will also be the one that will be used in v6.

An update has been put up that now includes printing of the TIP line on receipts for the customer. X-Charge was currently not supporting this with adjusted transactions, so we added basic printing back into the module.
