Printing problem
Re: Printing problem
Go into regional settings in the Windows control panel, and set the currency symbol there.

Re: Printing problem
I’ve checked that but that’s set correctly, it prints reports with a pound sign, just not receipts, even if I send the receipt to a a4 printer
Re: Printing problem
Go set the currency symbol explicitly. There is a space where you can manually override it.
Scott
- Go into Region and Language in the Windows control panel
- On the Formats tab, click the Additional Settings button
- Select the Currency tab, and manually insert the character that you want for your currency symbol in that location
- Click Apply, and Ok to save these changes.

No sorry that’s not it either, everything there was set ok, sorry to be a pain
Re: Printing problem
I'm really not sure what to tell you as we have many customers in the UK, and the Sterling symbol has worked fine for them.
The POS system only pulls the currency symbol from Windows, so that's where it has to be adjusted.
