Why are some screens not touchscreen enhanced, ie exit pgm?

Why are some screens not touchscreen enhanced, so a keyboard must be on the system for only one screen, ie exit program..???

The exist password prompt on the driver console was an oversight, since touch screen support was added to it after the fact. That will be corrected with the new release scheduled for this spring.
